This is a post I made at Democratic Underground. I made this just after watching the Samuel Alito hearings, seeing how whacked out this Alito character really is and seeing that obviously staged spectacle involving his wife.
Alito wants a "unitarian President". That means that Bush would be responsible or accountable to no one, who can choose which laws to follow anytime he wants. The Dems need to filibuster this Alito and if the Repukes go nuclear, I say shut down Congress. Enough is enough. The Democrats have to draw that line in the sand.
I didn't expect the massive support of my thoughts and over 140 DU members have recommended my thread for the "Greatest Page". I don't think I've ever seen that many recommendations for one thread in the time I've spent at DU. I'm emailing this post and a link to my DU thread to Harry Reid, the Senate Minority Leader.

No more f'ing around with the Repukes. They are capitulating in the fascist transformation of this country. It's time to do what the Repukes did in 95.
The Repukes are in dereliction of their duty and it's time to take the ball out of their hands.... literally.
